GIVING BACK
Every year Jasper Ridge strives to give back to our local community. Since the creation of Jasper Ridge LLC in 2018 we have participated in several charity projects. Below are excellent examples of the type of service projects we can assist with in the future. We are always looking for future opportunities to provide service either by providing labor, equipment, expertise or donations. If you would like to nominate an organization, family or person for consideration for a future charity project please complete the nomination form linked below. Keep in mind that we are looking for projects that we can provide the greatest results. We have a variety of tools, equipment and skill sets to accomplish these tasks. We would welcome the opportunity to put the assets of our company towards doing the most good. Most service projects are best accomplished when they can be performed in ½ day or less.
SERVICE PROJECTS
JOPLIN TRAILS - FRISCO GREENWAY
We assisted the Joplin Trails-Coalition on the St. Louis Trailhead of the Frisco Greenway Trail in Joplin near Zora St. We installed two loads of parking lot gravel with out compact track skid steer and assisted in installing rail road timbers along the perimeter of the parking area.
NEW WATER LINE
We helped install a new water line by trenching from the water meter to the house so a new line could be installed. The homeowner also wanted to add a new frost free hydrant.
TORNADO CLEANUP
Jasper Ridge has participated in several tornado cleanup efforts. With our equipment we are more easily able to assist in quickly cleaning up tornado damage and debris. We have found it very useful to have 5-15 people picking up light debris by hand while a compact track loader and compact excavator clean up the larger debris and load the dumpster of any garbage. Broken limbs and branches can be placed in burn piles or larger branches and tree trunks can be cut up and used for firewood.
PROPERTY CLEAN UP
After being cited by the city for debris in the yard we assisted
this US NAVY Veteran in cleaning up his property. In total
we hauled off 5 loads and cleaned and leveled the area so
lawn could be restored.
JOPLIN TRAILS - RUBY JACK
We assisted the Joplin Trails-Coalition on the Ruby Jack trail in Carthage near CR 164. We cleaned several railroad ties from the side of the trail along with installing a new drainage ditch to prevent rainwater runoff from eroding the trail.
CENTER FOR AUTISM
We partnered with Bill & Virginia Leffen Center for Autism in their annual Walk for Autism. We fundraised and participated in the walk/run.
